Social Program

Brasov is situated at the confluence of two old mountain passes crossing Southern Carpathians: Prahova Valley and Rucar – Bran corridor. Whereas Prahova Valley was rapidly modernized starting already with the end of the XIX-th century, when King Carol I established the Royal Summer Residence at the Peles Castle (built in 1875) in Sinaia, the Rucar – Bran pass has remained unaltered in its pastoral and traditional aspects. Moreover, Middle Age old fortified churches, fortresses and castles are spread in the Bran area as well as almost everywhere in Transylvania. Social events and a round trip in the wonderful areas Prahova Valley and Bran are envisaged.
