Resume

Rayene MERAH, Ph.D. student, born in February 1999, holds a B.Sc. (2019) and a M.Sc. (2021) degrees in Materials physics from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Abbes Laghrour University, Khenchela, Algeria. Currently pursuing a PhD (2023-to date) in Materials Science at the Faculty of Exact Sciences, University of Frères Mentouri Constantine, Algeria. Research experience: National Institute of Materials Physics (NIMP), Romania - Junior Researcher (since January 2026), Ph.D. student in Laboratory of Thin Films and Interfaces (University of Constantine 1), internship at LPMC Tunis (2024), a research visit at KUYTAM, Koç University, Turkey (2025), and short-term scientific mission (STSM) at the National Institute of Materials Physics (NIMP) in Magurele, Romania (2025) within the RenewPV COST Action. Member of CA21148 - Research and International Networking on Emerging Inorganic Chalcogenides for Photovoltaics (RENEW-PV). Main areas of interest/expertise: synthesis and characterization of perovskite and chalcogenide thin films for solar cell applications, optimizing absorbing layers using spray pyrolysis, spin coating; Hands-on experience: Hall effect measurement, UV-VIS Spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, photovoltaic measurements.
