The UNESCO Chair on STEM Education, TRRISE, in collaboration with the National Institute of Materials Physics (NIMP) and the researchers of the MATCA group, organized the educational event “Know More, Be Better!”, dedicated to the scouts of the Albastru Local Center within the Romanian Scouts Association.
The event aimed to promote STEM education and scientific curiosity among young participants through interactive activities, experimental demonstrations, and hands-on workshops. Throughout the program, the scouts had the opportunity to explore fundamental scientific concepts and to better understand the role of research and innovation in addressing real-world challenges.
By encouraging direct interaction with researchers and scientific experiments, the initiative contributed to strengthening the connection between education, research, and the wider community, while fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and curiosity-driven learning.
We sincerely thank all participants, collaborators, and organizers for their involvement and enthusiasm in supporting science outreach and STEM education initiatives.
