The Jubiliary Conference ROCAM 2024 aims at presenting an overview of the latest developments in some topics on: bulk ceramic and crystals; thin films, 2D materials and nanostructures; advanced characterization methods, and applications of advanced functional materials.
The ROCAM Conference is the perfect place for scientists, students and industrialists to meet and discuss the latest development in the field of advanced materials and applications.
Two Nobel Prize Laureates will open the conference, professor Klaus von Klitzing (Nobel Prize for Physics in 1985) and professor Gerard Mourou (Nobel Prize for Physics in 2018).
The conference will be organized jointly by the National Institute of Materials Physics (NIMP) and the faculty of Physics of the University of Bucharest,
