Thermoluminescence reader TLD 3500 (Harshaw)

Technical details:

– Heating range 25-400oC (or up 600 oC), N2 flow

– Various heating rates: 1-7oC/sec.

– High range of linearity (7 orders)

– Photomultiplier detector (thermoelectrically cooled)

Performances:

– Different programable profiles “time-temperature”;

– Optional optical glass filters for TL detection

– Persistent luminescence detectionsoftware for thermoluminescence curves deconvolution

Services offered to users: 

Authentification and dating of the archaeological artefacts (such as pottery, clay artefacts)

Dating of the geological samples (such as sediments)

Food irradiation detection (various products from the market, spices, vegetables…)
