GENERAL SEMINAR: Dr. Zhongpeng Lyu, Academy Research Fellow, Junior Group Leader, Department of Applied Physics, Aalto University
Dr. Zhongpeng Lyu is an Academy Research Fellow who leads the Multifunctional Nanocomposite (MNC) group in the Department of Applied Physics, Aalto University, which focuses on nanocomposite materials from e.g., MXenes, functional organic molecules, and magnetic nanomaterials/complexes with important applications in electronics and electrocatalysis. His research expertise is mainly in inorganic/organic nanomaterial design, synthesis, and assembly, as well as various X-ray characterization methods for understanding their nanoscale structures and electronic structures. His studies reflect the interest in developing and characterizing nanocomposite materials for various applications, including surface plasmonic Raman, spintronics, and self-assembly, and 2D-based electronic and electrocatalysis.
