Calendarul poate suferi unele modificari privind data interviului in functie de disponibilitatea membrilor Comisiilor de concurs.
Concursul se va desfășura la sediul INCDFM conform Legii 183/2024 privind Statutul personalului de cercetare- dezvoltare și a Regulamentului de organizare a concursurilor pentru ocuparea posturilor vacante de asistent de cercetare științifică (ACS), cercetător științific (CS), cercetător științific gradul III (CS III), cercetător științific gradul II (CS II) și cercetător științific gradul I (CS I) din INCDFM (poate fi consultat la https://infim.ro/reguli-si-reglementari/).
Dosarele de concurs se depun în termen de 30 de zile de la data apariției anunțului, la Compartimentul Resurse Umane al institutului sau se trimit prin e-mail la Mirela Pavelescu mirela.pavelescu@infim.ro sau Lucian Pintilie pintilie@infim.ro.
Dosarul de înscriere la concurs se depune la compartimentul Resurse Umane din cadrul INCDFM sau în format electronic la adresa de e-mail indicată mai sus și va cuprinde obligatoriu următoarele documente:
a) cererea de înscriere la concurs semnată (Anexa nr. 2);
b) curriculum vitae semnat de către candidat;
c) lista publicațiilor științifice, lucrărilor, articolelor/studiilor, brevetelor selectate de candidat în funcție de relevanța pentru activitățile de cercetare științifică proprii;
d) memoriul de activitate și o propunere de proiect;
e) fișele de verificare a îndeplinirii standardelor minimale (Anexa nr. 3) și a standardelor proprii ale organizației de cercetare, completate şi semnate de către candidat, după caz;
f) copia diplomei de licență sau echivalentă/masterat/doctorat, după caz. În situația în care candidatul declarat câștigător nu deține o diplomă eliberată de o instituție de învățământ superior din România, acesta trebuie să depună o copie conform cu originalul a atestatului de recunoaștere sau de echivalare a acesteia înainte de încadrarea pe post şi semnarea contractului individual de muncă, sub sancțiunea neemiterii actului administrativ de încadrare pe post. Pentru candidații la CS care încă nu au primit diploma de doctor, este suficient să aibă teza de doctorat aprobată pentru susținerea publică;
g) copia actului de identitate sau orice alt document care atestă identitatea, potrivit legii, după caz;
h) copia certificatului de căsătorie sau dovada schimbării numelui, după caz;
i) declarație pe propria răspundere, semnată de candidat, de confirmare a faptului că datele din dosar se referă la propriile activități și realizări, și în care se menționează că, în ultimii 3 ani anteriori înscrierii la concurs, candidatul nu a fost sancționat pentru săvârșirea unei abateri grave de la buna conduită în activitatea CDI prevăzute la art. 52 alin. (8) din Legea nr. 183/2024 (Anexa nr. 4).
j) certificatul medical care să ateste starea de sănătate corespunzătoare îndeplinirii atribuțiilor de serviciu, eliberată de către medicul de familie al candidatului sau de către unitățile sanitare abilitate, cu cel mult 3 luni anterior derulării concursului;
k) certificatul de cazier judiciar.
l) declarația de consimțământ pentru prelucrarea datelor cu caracter personal, semnată (Anexa nr. 5);
Curriculumul vitae al candidatului trebuie să includă:
a) studiile efectuate şi diplomele obținute;
b) experiența profesională şi locurile de muncă relevante ocupate anterior;
c) proiectele de cercetare-dezvoltare şi inovare pe care le-a condus ca director de proiect şi granturile obținute, dacă este cazul, indicându-se pentru fiecare sursa de finanțare, bugetul proiectului şi principalele publicații științifice sau brevetele de invenție rezultate;
d) premii sau alte elemente de recunoaștere a contribuției științifice;
e) descrierea narativă a celor mai importante 3 realizări în tematica postului pentru care se organizează concurs – maximum 3 pagini.
Lista publicațiilor științifice, lucrărilor, articolelor/studiilor, brevetelor de invenție considerate de candidat a fi relevante pentru domeniul postului pentru care candidează este structurată astfel:
a) lista a cel mult 10 publicații științifice, cele mai relevante, precum: cărți de autor, articole/studii/capitole, volume editate, lucrări;
b) lista brevetelor de invenție şi a altor titluri de proprietate industrială;
c) lista cărților de autor şi a volumelor editate şi publicate;
d) lista articolelor/studiilor în extenso, publicate în reviste din fluxul științific internațional principal;
e) lista altor lucrări şi contribuții științifice sau, după caz, din domeniul creației artistice sau apărării naționale.
f) lista lucrărilor care citează lucrările candidatului, menționând mai întâi lucrarea citată și apoi lucrările în care este citată lucrarea respectivă (auto-citările sunt excluse).
Dosarul de concurs trebuie să conțină memoriul de activitate și o propunere de proiect (tip PD în valoare de 50.000 EUR); pentru întocmirea propunerii de proiect se folosește modelul din Anexa nr. 6. Memoriul de activitate de maxim 3 pagini unde se includ: a) descrierea narativă a celor mai importante 3 realizări în tematica postului pentru care se organizează concurs; b) propunerea de dezvoltare a carierei științifice din punctul de vedere al activităților de cercetare științifică; c) rezultatele deosebite obținute, menționate în Art. 3 din Anexa nr. 7.

General Duties:
a) participation in project competitions (according to the expertise required for the position) as director, responsible partner, or team member;
b) participation in publishing research results in ISI-indexed journals;
c) involvement in new projects funded in correlation with own expertise;
d) presentation of research activity results at international scientific events.

Below are the descriptions of the specific tasks for the positions being advertised.

Advanced knowledge of microfabrication using lithographic techniques – photolithography and electron-beam lithography. Advanced knowledge in the fabrication and characterization of electronic and microelectronic devices. Advanced knowledge in thin-film deposition, characterization, and experimental data processing.
P2
Advanced knowledge in the design, fabrication, and characterization of microfluidic devices. Advanced knowledge in the development of electrochemical sensors and biosensors. Advanced knowledge in thin-film deposition, additive manufacturing, experimental data processing, programming, and design.

Advanced knowledge of Solid-State Physics, Semiconductors and Electronic Devices.
Macroscopic and microscopic electrical measurements – active electrical defects (DLTS, TSC).
Theoretical simulations using density functional theory DFT.
Thin layer deposition using different methods (ALD, CVD, spin-coating).
Atomic force microscopy (AFM) measurements

Activities related to the fabrication, processing, and characterization of solar cells based on next-generation materials (e.g., perovskites, chalcogenides, kesterites), as well as the development of three-dimensional structures and ceramic coatings using additive manufacturing technologies, with applications in the energy and biomedical sectors.

Processing and characterisation of materials for energy applications. The focus is on materials for thermoelectric applications, materials for nuclear energy (both fission and fusion), refractory alloys and composites, including high-entropy alloys. The research is focused on the design, fabrication and investigation of new materials with improved thermo-physical and thermo-mechanical properties, capable of operating in extreme conditions.

Processing and characterization of materials with applications in energy and development of specific methodologies with applications in the circular economy. The focus is on materials for permanent magnets without or with low content of Rare Earth elements, superconducting materials, methodologies for processing mine wastes containing Fe for the formation of magnetic phases, etc. Skills involving processing (pressing, sintering, SPS, crystal growths without/under magnetic field, melt spinning, arc melting) and characterization (elemental, morpho-structural, magnetic and Mossbauer) techniques are required.

1. Knowledge of experimental methods in surface and interface science: X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), low energy electron diffraction (LEED), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), surface cleaning in ultrahigh vacuum conditions, deposition of epitaxial thin films.
2. Mastering of high vacuum and ultrahigh vacuum techniques.
3. Knowledge of representation and data analysis in Igor Pro or Origin, particularly software for XPS spectra simulation.

Specific requirements: deposition of organic and hybrid thin layers by various methods (thermal evaporation method, spin-coating, etc.), creation of organic and hybrid heterostructures, morphological analyses by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), film characterization by UV-VIS spectroscopy, investigation of the electrical properties of organic/hybrid heterostructures, processing and interpretation of the results obtained from the measurements performed.

Morpho-structural investigations using advanced techniques of analytical transmission electron microscopy (CTEM, HRTEM, HAADF-STEM, ABF-STEM, SAED), measurements of chemical elemental composition and elemental mapping up to atomic spatial resolution (EDS, EELS), in-situ TEM experiments; processing, simulation and interpretation of the experimental results using dedicated computer programs (Digital Micrograph, ImageJ, xHREM, Crystal Kit, Mac Tempas, EELSMODEL); uses and creates computer programs for mapping atomic displacement fields and strain fields in atomic resolution images (HRTEM, HAADF-STEM, ABF-STEM).

The competition will take place at the INCDFM headquarters in accordance with Law 183/2024 regarding the Status of research and development personnel and the Regulation for organising competitions for filling vacant positions of research assistant (ACS), scientific researcher (CS), scientific researcher grade III (CS III), scientific researcher grade II (CS II) and scientific researcher grade I (CS I) at INCDFM (can be consulted at https://infim.ro/reguli-si-reglementari/ ).
Competition files must be submitted within 30 days from the date of the announcement, to the Human Resources Department of the institute or sent by e-mail to Mirela Pavelescu mirela.pavelescu@infim.ro for Lucian Pintilie pintilie@infim.ro.
The application file for the competitionmust be submitted to the Human Resources Department of INCDFM or electronically to the email address indicated above and must obligatorily include the following documents:
a) the signed application form (Annex no. 2);
b) curriculum vitae signed by the candidate;
c) list of scientific publications, works, articles/studies, patents selected by the candidate according to relevance to their own scientific research activities;
d) activity report and a project proposal;
e) checklists for meeting the minimum standards (Annex no. 3) and the organization’s own standards, completed and signed by the candidate, as applicable;
f) copy of the bachelor’s degree or equivalent/master’s/doctorate, as applicable. If the declared winner does not have a diploma issued by a higher education institution in Romania, they must submit a certified copy of the recognition or equivalence certificate before employment and signing the individual employment contract, under penalty of non-issuance of the employment administrative act. For candidates for CS positions who have not yet received their doctorate diploma, it is sufficient to have the thesis approved for public defense;
g) copy of the identity card or any other document proving identity, according to the law, as applicable;
h) copy of the marriage certificate or proof of name change, as applicable;
i) declaration on own responsibility, signed by the candidate, confirming that the data in the file refer to their own activities and achievements, and stating that, in the 3 years prior to entering the competition, the candidate has not been sanctioned for committing a serious breach of good conduct in RDI activity as provided in art. 52 para. (8) of Law no. 183/2024 (Annex no. 4).
j) medical certificate attesting to the candidate’s state of health appropriate for fulfilling job duties, issued by the candidate’s family doctor or authorized healthcare units, no more than 3 months prior to the competition;
k) criminal record certificate.
l) consent statement for the processing of personal data, signed (Annex no. 5).
The curriculum vitaeof the candidate must include:
a) completed studies and diplomas obtained;
b) professional experience and relevant previous positions held;
c) research, development, and innovation projects led as project manager and grants obtained, if applicable, indicating for each the funding source, project budget, and main scientific publications or resulting patents;
d) awards or other elements recognizing scientific contribution;
e) narrative description of the 3 most important achievements related to the position’s theme for which the competition is organized – maximum 3 pages.
The list of scientific publications, works, articles/studies, invention patents considered by the candidate to be relevant for the field of the position they are applying for is structured as follows:
a) list of up to 10 most relevant scientific publications, such as: authored books, articles/studies/chapters, edited volumes, works;
b) list of invention patents and other industrial property titles;
c) list of authored books and edited and published volumes;
d) list of full-length articles/studies published in journals from the main international scientific circuit;
e) list of other scientific works and contributions or, as the case may be, from the field of artistic creation or national defense.
f) list of works that cite the candidate’s works, first mentioning the cited work and then the works in which it is cited (self-citations are excluded).
The application file must include an activity report and a project proposal (PD type, valued at 50,000 EUR); for preparing the project proposal, use the template from Annex no. 6. The activity report should be a maximum of 3 pages and must include: a) a narrative description of the three most important achievements related to the theme of the position for which the competition is organized; b) a proposal for the development of the scientific career from the perspective of scientific research activities; c) outstanding results obtained, as mentioned in Art. 3 of Annex no. 7 .
